2012.05.01: BoardDocs Enhancement - Ordering Board Member Names

At BoardDocs, we are committed to our user community and continuously improving user experiences with our services. With that in mind, we have released another enhancement requested by the user community.

What is the update?
Document Publishers now have the ability to order Executive names in People Manager. So, when recording the vote in the Meeting Control Panel, board member names appear in the order desired.

How do I use it?
To arrange names in the Executive list:

  1. Place your mouse pointer on a name.
  2. Left click & hold, then drag the name where you want it.
  3. Release the mouse when the name is in the desired location.

IMPORTANT NOTE
For the Roll to reflect the updated names or order, you must:

    1. Refresh your browser (F5)
    2. Go to Options > Meeting Control
    3. Beneath Voting, insure all appropriate voting Board members are selected.
    4. Click the save icon to update the Roll.

When will I get this update?
The update was released last evening to all BoardDocs subscribers.
Standard subscribers will get the update when regularly scheduled replication occurs.

Is there anything that I need to know?
Please Note that this feature does NOT affect Board Member Pages in the Library which are displayed on the Welcome tab. These items are edited from the Library and are not associated with access or voting.

As always, please check your options to ensure they are configured for your organization's specific needs.
