Emerald Data SolutionsTM, a Georgia S-Corporation, is 100% employee-owned and has been providing technology solutions since 1989. Clients have included the State of Georgia, BellSouth, Turner Broadcasting and hundreds of local governments.

In the late 1990’s, the Company had the foresight to move from providing project based, IT solutions to a then-radical, SAAS model. This strategic change led to the development of BoardDocs®, a revolutionary eGovernance (paperless meeting) solution, which was initially developed for Marietta City Schools in 2000. Currently, Emerald Data Solutions is exclusively dedicated to the development and delivery of its fifth-generation, community-defined BoardDocs services.

Of special note, Emerald Data Solutions has been 100% virtual since 2005. At that time, the move from a traditional workplace to a cloud-based footprint where all employees work from home was groundbreaking. As evidenced by the Company's continued growth, this operational model has proven remarkably successful and now serves as an example that other companies often emulate.

Our current staff includes former technology directors, former board clerks, a former database administrator for the DOE’s Yucca Mountain Facility, former Fortune 500 executive trainers, top developers and certified support analysts.
